thats fucked up man. search button doesnt always work that well, and its easier to just make a new thread and have people answer you directly instead of reading countless pages of bullshit until you finally come across what you were looking for. all the guy asked for was help.

^^^ what would you call that??? a cry for help?

noobs need to know that the search button, if used properly DOES work, we dont need people and their sob stories trying to convince people the search button doesnt work.

noobs dont use the damn search button enough, thats y this site is flooded with the same questions in the exact same type of threads everyday! people need to learn, it's called tough love homeboy- and research is good, it answers questions and causes alot less confusion...

There's always somebody else out there that can make you look like a noob. Call it a lesson learned and cut the guy some slack.

whats this?!? revenge of the NOOBS?

STFU

the fact of the matter is, all the NOOBS that have questions need to take a look around, the search button does work, and is there for a reason- if your too damn lazy to do a little searching for a while then you should get flamed for makin yet again another stupid thread about questions that been answered numerous times, and once your on the site for more than 3 days you will realize this too.

the TVS SC has many GREAT threads that answer pretty much any question you can think of including the one the OP has asked. /thread

Like my good friend Emperor and Killerbee said the other day, if you're tired of seeing it, don't click on it. It's not like if enough people ask the same question the Earth is going to stop rotating. It's always the same thing on every forum I've seen, from video games, to computers, to cars, there's always somebody who wants to say,"Use the search button man!" I could correct somebody every time they call their engine a motor, but who wants to be THAT guy?

And yes you're right, there's a huge thread about the guys with the TVS installed. Really great read. Maybe now that this guy is interested he'll take his time and read it.

Amen brother, Amen.

I think Rebel just released the numbers on their blower, from the little bit I've gleaned, it runs hotter then the TVS, puts out less power, and costs more.

It looks like TVS or turbo is still the way to go.

While were on the subject of TVS, I really want one, but I'm curious if it would be worth it. I wanna make just an even 300WHP. With basic mods, such as header, downpipe, 2.5" exhaust, CAI, stage 2, and heat exchanger, with engine, and tranny mounts, would I need the TVS or would I be pretty close, without getting a tune. Also, what pully on the TVS would work with a stage 2 tune? Do I need 60# injectors or will my 42's work that come with stage 2.

The only reason, I ask is that it's hard to collect my information with everyone always arguing. Everyone keeps going back and forth and coming up with different answers, so instead of trying to collect my information from other people's questions, I thought I would ask my own.

Red face

Ok, I guess we've had our fun.
Let's see if I can put a safe formula together.
If anybody wants to add, please stay sensible, and don't get stupid.
Talking reality...

How about...

Forged pistons
Upgraded headstuds
2.7 pulley w/Stg 2 belt (any thing lower you'll have to machine the snout)
60lb injectors
Sparkplugs
3" Intake
3" Throttlebody
Slightly Ported S/C (optional)
Aftermarket Header/full exhaust
Second H/E
Dualpass Endplate
30 shot of nitrous
Custom Tune

I'm guessing that should safely get him around 300, right?

easy power, with the cam gears and some seat time. it will bring a new level of power to the lsj. plus the increased air flow from them
