the TVS supercharger?????
yeah, thats what I was planning on doing, I'm just gona have to wait till somwone comes out with a new SC... but I want one now!!!!
next mod is gona be the header down pipe comboooooo
call me crazy, but 2,500 JUST for the blower doesn't seem like a wise purchase when you can throw $2,500 in mods at the M62 and come pretty damn close to 300WHP with stage kits, custom tune, pulley, cooling, ect......???
is there anything being built for the LE5?
no you will come nowhere near this blower, you are sadly mistaken
if you can run a m62 why can't you run a tvs, same dimensions same swap

ok, i was just wondering if there would be a kit for it, because i know with the s/c Le5 swap u need to move some stuff around in the engine bay and need other compointents
so then the guys on here with stock M62 blowers with mods/tune pulling 280WHP are liers ? to me, 280 is pretty close to 300.................that was my point.
not trying to diss the tvs blower, just seems pricey for the amount of power you gain. Example, on my mustang, if I were to spend $2,500 on it, I'd throw on a Vortec A trim with a 9 psi pulley and pick up around 130HP at the wheel. But when you put a TVS blower on a cobalt, from the sounds of it, if you didn't change much else, you're only gaining like 30-40 hp....??? Ok bad comparison but you see where I'm coming from, lol.

run the same pulley size and get back to me. Guys running 3.1" pulleys on the htv are making 40 more whp then when they were on the 2.6" pulley with a ported m62. Make sense now runa smaller pulley and the htv will make a m62 look stupid
well, 2,250 is what the test guys get them for, but due to our horrible american dollar exchange rate and inflation its probably going to be a bit higher like 2500-2750 maybe. Still, for a supercharger that bolts right up to our configuration its pretty good considering all you need are throttle body, exhaust, bigger injectors and a tune if you're running the larger of the pulley's.
way to spread false information.
