TVS Vs. Turbo?
Ok.
So I definitely don't want to stay stock . And the m62 isn't going to put out the power that I want...
so I definitely need to either go Turbo or TVS.
Now, my issue is if I am going to go build the **** out of my motor & stuff, I will definitely just go turbo. If I'm in for a penny I'm in for a pound
Can I just take a stock Redline and throw a TVS at it and make good power (with some supporting mods) ?
What kind of power can I make without having to build my motor or anything drastic like that?
And is the pull from the TVS comparable to a turbo swap?
This will be my DD.
I am just looking for something that pulls a lot harder,
and will be safe when the project is complete, to have as a DD.
I really want to upgrade some **** like the exhaust, but I can't even do that until I decide between SC/TC
So, please help me out haha.
If anyone has anything great to say about either setup, or some great advice, please throw it my way.
Jeff

If you don't have the availability of E85/ don't want to take the Meth route, numbers seem more 300-320 depending on the dyno.
Two different monsters. Turbo LSJs seem to put out better numbers, but a turbo swap also cost much more.
Keep in mind, as you add power, things are going to break. Clutch is a nice factor that will have a difficult time handling the extra power. The general rule of thumb is the stock clutch doesn't like over 300whp. You do a good launch, you can break an axle. Ect ect ect. Theirs things to consider upgrading to handle the new power.
