A deep socket a 3/8 swivel and a 6 in long extension is what it took to break that bolt loose and pull it out.

Boom's car should have the install done Wednesday night. It will be going for tuning on Thursday and Friday. Right now we are waiting on the intake manifold gasket, and we have to get some new bolts for the dual pass. It appears like most stuff from GM the bolts are torque to yield and when you reuse them they snap.

I didn't have that patience for that because my hand didn't want to contort that way, so the alternator came out.

For Boom and I we just moved it out of the way and then had to play with a few things to find the right tools. I had to try a few sockets before I figured it was a 15mm. I was under the impression it was a 13 mm from the instructions we had.

Yeah, I told Mase to change that in the instructions. I guess you got yours before it was changed. I just unbolted the alternator and moved it out of the way too, no need to remove it completely.

Awesome thread, I love these threads with all info and postive feedback! Trolls and negative comments stay away! Twinscrew FTW!

I honestly think a blower swap is something I will do down the line. First I want a built motor with all supporting mods. My axles showed up today!!! Now all I need is my clutch/flywheel Exedy FTW!

Ok, the twinscrew is now on the car and it is running. We are working on getting the tune straight. Then we will be going for a ride.
