Two PCM's?

I have my car tuned and setup for stage 2, but i wanna go to 60's but not necessarily permanently...so could i theoretically buy another PCM and have the it tuned to tune 60's and 2.8? then if i ever need to go back to my conservative stage two i can swap down to that?

well one PCM would be tuned for 60's and 2.8 and my current one would be tuned for my stage two injectors and pulley, so then theoretically i could just swap injectors, pulley and pcm's. Am i wrong?

You could do that... or you could just have the stage 2 tune flashed back into it when you wanted to back down

think your looking at roughly 250 for a ecu with a 60's tune on it. I would personally invest in the hptuners software over going the two ecu route.

I have hptuners and can do some stuff with it. Definately a good investment.

Nick at BYT is your premier guy in the tri state area. I have run better times with less mods and without slicks than quite a few members on this site with his tune.

you don't need two PCMs....... it'll be a waste of time & money for you.

once you get the 2.8/60s setup on and have BYT tune you..... you'll never go back to the stage 2 setup.

you want conservative..... keep your right foot of that skinny pedal.

but if something starts to go wrong i can go back to this tune cuz i know its right and safe. Not saying he wont tune it right, just dont want to blow up another engine...plus you can get used pcm's for like 75 bucks. Thats not a huge waste of money in my eyes, considering ill be able to go down to a safe stage tune when ever i need to
