You're seriously wanting to cheap out on oil?

Research oils before you buy them: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php

I ONLY use Castrol Syntec 0w-30, or Rotella SAE 30 in any of my vehicles or equipment. I'm about to give Amsoil a shot though.

Any synthetic that meets GM's requirements should satisfy you and your cars warranty.
