Exclamation Vacuum Line Question

This is my first post here as I have just got a cobalt SS.SC. I work on Mercedes-Benz!!

Short story.

Bought from dealer, had trans work done, car back in my possession for ten minutes, trans blows, motor blows.

finally after 2 months get car back and now engine lights on with the famous P0496 or W/E "high emission purge"

well i read around and most say its the purge solenoid.

i can test it and stuff but i was wondering when they rebuilt my engine theres 2 lines that arent on and i have no idea where they go.

^^ the line with the screw in it and the line below it.

i'd appreciate the help. i love the car even tho ive been screwed over on it so many times.

I have a LNF not an LSJ but i think that has to do with the supercharger bypass valve.

Here is an exploded parts diagram that should help:

that's an awesome picture thank you. yeah it looks like the charger bypass.
so those lines should go into the supercharger, maybe one in the manifold and on into the charger?

appreciate the help
