Vacuum Pump for SS/SC

I havent been able to find any info on vacuum pumps. Has anybody put a vacuum pump on their car to relieve crankcase pressure, especially under boost? I'd like to put an electric one like the M3 has (its better than GM's air injection pumps), and have it boost referenced. Thanks.

Most of the guys with a TVS making high boost run an oil cap breather or some other solution for venting the crankcase. I've never heard of anyone using a vacuum pump on these cars, but I'm sure it would be possible. I'm not entirely sure it's needed though.

one guy with an ariel atom using a TVS blower did it. maybe he will chime in here. i'm going to be running a custom breather tank set-up with two -12AN fittings welded on the valve cover with -12AN lines running to a breather tank with a filter on the top of it

Can that be used with our stock EVAP system, or would we need a different pump also?

I'm guessing ours is the late model 2 wire black connector?

So basically... There is a boost referenced switch that turns on the existing EVAP pump and utilizes all of the stock connections to create some crankcase vacuum during boost?

Hmm if so that may be a great way to get rid of the oil cap breather I'm using now. I think a breather will mess with fuel trims a tiny amount.

Have you done this? Do you know anything else about the mod? Seems like reasonable simple wiring to me...
