vibrant is 3" if ur keeping ur mods that u ahve now and not doing much more, go with 2.5, itll sound better.

i went witht the vibrant because my goal is 300 hp at least. the rule of thumb is every 1" = 100 hp

mine is loud when ur on it which i hate and might consider another resonator or something to quiet it. but normal driving its badass. but i also have a leak now whicih i need a new gasket blah! lol

most shops only charge like 20-30 dollars i believe, but with some u have to remove the header which then u have to had install which would bring it up to 75-100...

i prefer the ZZP due to the multitude of options it has. It also has different sizes for the primaries for 2.2/2.4 and 2.0 applications. Im unsure as to what the vibrant's primaries are however. i couldnt be happier with my ZZP. also, to add a bung to the ZZP its only $10....it comes with one on the header collector point and one on the DP, but if you have the sensor for the header ( i believe 2.0's and SAI fitted 2.2s have it....my 2.2 SAI has it), they can include an additional bung for $10. Anyway, my ZZP performs wonderfully and sounds amazing! nice deep rich tone. ive also got the GMPP sport exhaust fyi

I'm very pleased with my Vibrant header/downtube. I didn't have any install problems and it didn't and still hasnt thrown any codes after about 1000 miles. Not bashing ZZP in anyway, but you can't go wrong with the Vibrant.

Thanks for all the responses and opinions! I am still undecided on which system I will get, I was leaning towards vibrant but I am not sure that I want a 3" DP on my car.

Does anyone here have the ZZP setup with ceramic coating? If so, do you have pics and is it holding up well?

Just so you know sir all zzp downpipes are 3 inches all they do is weld a 2.5 flange on so it could bolt up. zzp does not make 2.5 inch downpipes

I have the Vibrant comb. Sounds like a Civic when the exhaust is cold but when the baby gets nice and hot, it is one deep rumble. You will also find that there is a loss of power below 3K rpm but the car really wakes up between 3200 and 6500 rpm. This exhaust is proven to add a min. of 1 lb of boost to the LSJ engine in the mid range which is good for 12-15 hp.

you're talking about just the regular downpipe. i'm talking about the downpipe that comes with the mid-lenght header, which is different. and i assure you that it is 2.5". look at their site, we're talking about 2 different products here.
