Today I got some worthy update news so here goes.
We have been testing the servo motors which will run the Pressure Swithching Valves and everything is running great. The PCB program running the motors was a real pain to design and we are going to be running the program via a built in laptop.
The laptop will serve several purposes including running a diagnostic POST everytime the car is started. There will also be a password in effect so instead of needing a key the password is required to start the car.
The new intercooler/manifold is very close to being ready to actually build. The last thing we need to do is the final postioning of the secondary injectors. I am including the new "M-Tubes" that replace what were the Laminovas. As you can see thery are quite the pieces and the amount of coolant flow is significantly increased.
We also have all the components in for the A.R.E. dry sump kit.
The final T56 replacement part (the upgraded Viper mainshaft) showed up today, and the transmission goes back together next week.
The RWD conversion has finally commenced and starts going full bore next week.
Because we have sometime until the RWD conversion is done, I have decided (yes again) to change a couple of components. I simply want to cross all my I's and dot all my T's so I have instructed JBP to source a custom crankshaft good for 1,000bhp.
At the same time I have said to send back the turbos. Yes you read correctly. I told Mev to send back the turbo's and get bigger ones. I want to leave no doubt to making my HP goals and still operate within efficient, non-overstressed, parameters.
Both of these new directions are attainable in the timeline the conversion will take, approximately 6 weeks.
As we continue the conversion, I will also post up pics as they get to me.

haha soo much money are you dropping for these conversions? i cant even begin to think how swet it will be. but wouldnt be be worth it to just just a car with a bigger engine, or a car that puts out more stock hp instead of droppin all the cash ? the outcome no doubt will be sick though.

Sorry Paul, the turbos have to go back to Garrett as an exchange, seeing as how Garrett is a sponsor.
The cost is significant but doing anything else would mean not having my Cobalt and I love this car.
There was only 1 or 2 things that I needed to change.

with the way his motor is being built... I think it just may... Victory they finish the cyl head yet. I"'d love to see what that thing looks like compared to stock. Mine unfortunately won't be back for a while damnit. It's holding me up

You're doing sequential?!?! Wow, that is really complicated, I've heard supra guys HATE the sequential setup, and thats why they switch to one huge turbo. The RB26DETT does two evenly sized turbos, basically like choosing turbos for two 1.3L 3 cylinder motors, rather than one 2.6L 6 cylinder.

The PCB controls the Honeywell transducer (see pic) which is an areospace grade component meant to do exactly what we need, to handle the PSV's.
It is likely that previous sequential turbo setups omitted this type of design, simply due to the cost factor.

unless you spray it.
you can go tens on the stock turbos in a supra.
this thing is gonna be sick but with 2 huge turbos on there how is the thing gonna spool up
i mean when it hit its gonna be like a f&*%in runnaway frieght train going down hill. but i feel like it will take so long to spool that it wont be worth it. but either way this car is gonna be awsome

and the bearings have been discontinued
I'm glad your putting them to good use. They would just have been getting old laying around here the past year.
ain't that the truth.... I hate FWD man... this is my first one.. and it just pisses me off constantly... but I have finally dialed in my technique and still haven't been outlaunched by anyone yet lol... even that evo from my vids.. even he was shocked.

Of course Paul I am not going to let up on you until there are 2 rwd Cobalts on this site. Besides at the power levels you are aiming for it's either rwd or a race prepped auto tranny. RWD will be cheaper.
