We are happy today. Can you imagine having a crankshaft that is about 25-30 lbs lighter than stock???? And this is made out of E4340 billet steel.

hell, Red, any less rotating mass, and itll stall like a carerra gt.
or at least when you shut off the key, the motor will have stopped before you finish turning the key.

There is no key, it is run by a computer, password protected and all
And considering the size of turbo, the faster we get the revs up the better.

Dude if you "cross your I's" and "dot your T's" you're going to have an engine that functions backwards

It is ironic that you are the first one to catch my "intentional" mistake (to see how many were paying attention) because you own the type of car I am building to race against.

And no I don't mean your "2nd" car.

The goal is 750wrhp with the expectations of running low 9's. We are also expecting to get a SEMA spot as well as a couple of magzine features.
I will still drive the car on the street with the boost turned down. On the weekends I will race the car starting at the street legal drags and after I have gotten practice & accustomed to the power I will race in some local NHRA Super Comp races.

Nothin like a 9", one of the few things ford did right. Tell me is there any particular reason you chose a T56 over and automatic?

I like driving a stick and I want the challenge of rowing through the gears as I race.
As well, these cars came manual and I don't have to worry about my wife or daughters taking the car for a drive.

Let me check with the shop and see if that would be feasible to do for other people.
As far as the headunit with a touch screen I like that idea.

Here is the new crankshaft design.

I got a picture today of the crankshaft design for my engine. There are going to be a few specs added and the production begins next week. It is possible that these will available to the masses once the first one is done for me. I will keep you all informed.

That was a real quick response Paul. Are you just lurking out here???
JBP is working on getting these done at good enough prices so you and other serious builders can have them.
