There is no key, it is run by a computer, password protected and all
And considering the size of turbo, the faster we get the revs up the better.

I have been slacking and not following along lately I remember the origional threads when you started this. What is your goals with this car?

so what did JBP accomplish in regards to your car?

 

The goal is 750wrhp with the expectations of running low 9's. We are also expecting to get a SEMA spot as well as a couple of magzine features.
I will still drive the car on the street with the boost turned down. On the weekends I will race the car starting at the street legal drags and after I have gotten practice & accustomed to the power I will race in some local NHRA Super Comp races.

 

Any pics of the Rwd conversion ? I'd be interested to see how you got all that done, by the way what rear are you running?

 

The project is still in the process of being done. Pics will be forth coming as the project moves along.
The rear end will be a Ford 9".

 

Nothin like a 9", one of the few things ford did right. Tell me is there any particular reason you chose a T56 over and automatic?

 

I like driving a stick and I want the challenge of rowing through the gears as I race.
As well, these cars came manual and I don't have to worry about my wife or daughters taking the car for a drive.

Let me check with the shop and see if that would be feasible to do for other people.
As far as the headunit with a touch screen I like that idea.

 

I got a picture today of the crankshaft design for my engine. There are going to be a few specs added and the production begins next week. It is possible that these will available to the masses once the first one is done for me. I will keep you all informed.
