Warranty vs Power

I bought my 06 SS w/ 45k miles on it from a GM dealer. They give free lifetime powertrain warranties on used GM's under 100k miles. So I didn't pay for this but their rules are you have to have certified dealers do everything and on time. Since the warranty is not thru GM (outside company) I know they will screw me out of the warranty if I put any stage kit on it.

Moral of the story is I want to get to 235-240 lb-ft torque, and whatever HP that rounds out to is fine. Dealers here want over $1200 just to do stage 2. NOT HAPPENING, plus it doesn't get to my goals. So the question is if I do the install myself and have someone else flash the ECU what am I going to spend to do the injectors, pulley, belt etc? I searched a bit but seems like a lot of folks just go with stage2 and call it good. So with an intake/exhaust what kind of boost will be needed to get to 240 lb-ft? Im trying to weigh the situation and decide whether my warranty is worth tolerating their $50 oil changes and $500 service fees. Because I cant mod the car, have to change the oil every time I fart, and have to sit at a dealer sweat shop for 4 hours while they play doctor on my car.

Is the LSJ durable enough to last 150k miles if I treat it well, even with 250hp? What would you do?

these motors should have stockish wear with way more than 250whp. the other acsessory parts such as alternator and a/c condensor vary so greatly theres likely no way of knowing if modifing the car has broken these parts. imo it doesnt matter.

however certain things can arise such as clutch wear, cloged cat, seal leaks etc. so take it with a grain of salt. imo mod it to the hill
