Water/Meth before blower

I have a watermeth kit i bought and am planning on running it after the throtle body before the blower. I also plan on using -20 washer fluid. Anybody else using this same set-up and see good results or problems?

Thats the current set up i am currently running. I love being able to do a pull and i can put my hand on my charger and it will be cool to the touch. I also gained 2 pounds of boost running it through the charger. The windshield washer fluid cools well but theres not enough meth in it. I'm going to be swaping to 50/50 this spring.

I use a 50/50 ish mix, its consistent each time which is important...but i use Peak or Valuecraft...aka Autozone washer fluid made by Peak lol

I think washer fluid is about 20-25% meth if im correct...if im wrong, correct me lol

Essential to make sure the ingredients is only water and methyl alcohol, no additives or anything else

You would run a winter windshield washer fluid. It contains methanol so that it doesn't freeze. But it's a low amount of meth.

Confused how to run it in what way? To make it you are just taking methanol and mixing it with distilled water. Now you can change you're ratio for different applications. 50/50 is probably the most common

I might try this so u mix 25 peak fluid and what percent water or just peak fluid. I might just run 50/50 but might try this out till the weather gets better to play around in

I decided to get the ZZP M62 Plate to Inject my Meth. Its gonna raise the blower a little so i had to buy a stock belt as well. I am running a 75/25 mix of VP M1 and Water.

You arent mechanically pushing any more boost. Assuming its the same pulley as before you were running meth, the blower is still spinning at the same revolutions per unit time throughout the rpm range and compressing/pushing the same amount of air into the intake manifold as before. The cooler intake charge from the meth/water is what causes the car to perceive that its seeing more boost. My winter tune was just a conservative 93 octane tune, but when I was running meth through the end of summer I was pushing "17psi" whereas before it was seeing around 14-15psi with the same GMS3 pulley I had before meth.

What exactly are you confused about? lol be more specific, confused about what to buy? confused about how to install? confused about what kind of setup you want with it? confused about the tuning aspect? lol

Actually even Devilsown will tell you you're boost will go up running meth because the meth/water tightens up the tolerences in the blades thus making more boost.

Will find out myself in a few days when i get my ride back. Was boosting 17.5 before the badmab was put in. After that i went to s a solid 17. Now meth is going in so if it changes i will make another post.

Would be interesting to see though since i honestly have no idea.

It will go up. And it makes sense as to why too. I was 15 psi with my 2.8", hooked up my meth and went to 17psi

Hmmm...interesting...I guess it doesnt make sense to me as to how a mist/vapor would cause the rotors to "mesh" closer or have a tighter clearance or tolerance...but it's not like I have anything to prove that theory wrong lol it just doesnt make sense to me

Vaporizing meth and water through a supercharger creates a tighter seal. It's not that complicated haha.

I know what you're saying lol I'm just saying it doesn't seem like a vapor would cause a tighter seal to a noticeable degree of 1-2 psi lol

Not saying you're wrong, would like to see/read more on this though out of curiosity lol
