Okay strangest thing just happened, I picked up my new SS/SC balt on Thursday CEL came on that night. I had the dealer put Stage II on before I picked it up. Anyways, haven't had time to take it back yet, so ran it with the light on. Today I was standing in the driveway listening to XM The battery died, proceeded to jump start it. After jumping let it run for an hour, turned it off, then restarted it no CEL. I did put 94 Octane in it today as opposed to the cheap ass 91 the dealer put in it. Wondering if that could have been the cause of CEL? Any ideas? I've read the threads and I will make sure I have the code pulled tomorrow.

IMO Your best bet is to see if the CEL comes back on, and get the code number read...People can help you a lot more if you know the number.

Exactly. It might take a couple cycles for the light to come back on.

nah our cars reccomend 91 or more octane so 91 is just fine

i wish we had 94 around here... best place ive found in my city is 92 bp lol
