Get it on a lift with the wheels at your height, have someone put it into first and give it gas, then listen to the back of the wheel bearing (or steering knuckle really since the bearing moves) with a mechanic's stethoscope and compare it to the passenger side....That's best way to find out if it's the driver's front bearing IMO

I guess you could chock the rear wheels and put the front on stands in your driveway, but it's kinda risky.

Other than that, I have no other advice. Hard to help with car issues over the internet.

Orrrrr you could do it safely.. Jack the front end up off the ground and see if you can wiggle the wheels at all. Try spinning it by hand and see if it sounds like a peppermill when you spin in lol.

Also, try taking your brake pads and rotor off. Scuff the pads up a little bit with some sand paper and make sure all the rust is knocked off the edge of the rotor.

mine has a similiar noise... seems it only happens when im going 60km/h or slower... and only when im slowing down not accelerating... the dealership has tried twice to find the source... and failed... they thought brakes and tires... nope... still under warranty tho... so if i can turn my stereo up and drown it out im good til something breaks cuz im getting sick of my weekly guessing game at the dealer. lol full brake service/rotors turned and a tire rotation for free out of it though
