Hey man learn from me I ran a 14.4 at 97 with stg 2, dual pass, intake, and a 2.79" pulley. My IAT2 temps were at like 230 at the top end of the track. Why you ask, well the fuse for the aftercooler pump was blown. I fixed it and added some mods and will be trying it out again this week. But have someone check your IAT2 temps if they are high they will destroy your top end power.

looks like you hooked good but the last half of 1st gear was messy....
and maybe some clutch slip into 2nd?

your at least 0.3 off at the 1/8th from where you should be.

It was my son driving all 6 runs as I was videotaping. He wasnt powershifting and let up on each shift a tad. He was just tryingto work on the launch and get cleanly through the gears.

Just a note, every turbo evo and lancer etc there was running low to mid 14's with only 2 of them mustering a mid 13 and the turbo Neons we all low 14's as well with only 1 of them getting a 13.85 at 101. Not one of those broke a 14 so it was alot of lousy track prep I think. 2 C5 Z06s that night had best runs of only 13.60 at 111 and 1 C6 Z06 could only muster a 12.50 at 121.

With a decent launch and working on the shifts a little its a 13 second car no doubt, but I need to get it dyno'd to see where the optimum shift points should be.

I think you need to learn your **** sir.
R/T doesnt mean **** on a street legal/test and tune night.

Every track I know of, your time starts when you cross the start line for test and tunes.
this isnt top fuel dragster racing.

Umm.....

The clock starts when your cars moves! If someone sat at the green for 3 seconds and then launched they would still get a 2.0 60 footer or whatever. It wouldnt add an extra 3 seconds to it cause the guy didnt go on green, it just makes for a bad reaction time calculation. Because the CLOCK starts when you move!

Yeah, sorry, but the time starts when your car moves. You know the pre stage lights? They have an infrared sensor in each lane that you pull up to; when both pre stage lights are lit, you are in position and the light will start it's sequence. Upon a green light the clock will NOT start until you break the beam. There are also sensors placed down the track which are responsible for recording your 60', 330, 8th, 1000, and 1/4 times.

During test and tune you could pull your car up, get the green light, wait for 20 seconds if you want to and then go, and your time would be recorded from the second you left. Reaction does not account for ET or trap speed.

Edit: In a heads up race reaction time is ONLY to decide the winner, not the ET or Trap speed. This is a good description I found;
"The total time of the race for each lane is recorded and announced as the elapsed time, or E.T., followed by the top speed for each vehicle. The clock starts when the vehicle leaves the start line, not when the green comes on. The reaction time is recorded separately to show how long a vehicle waited to leave while the E.T. shows how long the race was. Adding these numbers together as a "package" will show the mathematical winner every time."

you must have the only track like that ever built... every other track known to man starts when you move, UNLESS you're doing bracket racing at which piont it would start at the green.

alot of times, people that don't give a **** about getting down the track FiRST wil even let the other racer get a few second head start so they can focus more on their own driving, not what the other person is doing.

While having a great E/T is nice. With our fwd layout i'd rather focus on the trap speed.

You were actually referring to test n tune as well. It's not a big deal man, everyone is mistaken from time to time.

The best way to try and figure out what your runs are doing is videotape them.
