what to buy?

i have a 05 ss/sc and all i have right is a cai, ingalls etd, spec 3 clutch, and fidanza flywheel. i have $1500 to spend on mods. i was thinking about getting either the intense stg4 kit or gm stg 2 plus 2.8" pulley. i also want to get a header and dp. are the zzp ones any good? i am also oredering some cab's and engine inserts.

i dont wanna go any smaller than a 2.7" or 2.8" pulley so can someone tell me the best route to go and not spend a buttload of money?

if you go with the stage two kit from gm do not put a 2.8 pulley on without a tune .... it causes many problems like cracking compression rings on the piston..... just some thoughts

try to save some money for any problems you may run into. check out winnersaturnparts.com for a good price on the stage kits

u should go with tag if you want to do the gm stage II and 2.8.... depending on your altitude, u are on the verge of pushing your injectors to the limit (if no already doing so).

in all honesty, if you dont care about your warranty, just forget the GM stage kits and go aftermarket. you will see better gains and have more future tuning options.

I like tags stg 2 setup. Seems like you get really good results from it.

yes. they are using hptuners

i really dont kno who has the better tune. they are all reputable. tag seems to be more realistic and honest. i havent really dealt much with any of the companies tho.

tags stg 2 is too much for me. i dont wanna go that far with the car. i just wanna upgrade the pulley/injectors/ecu/header/dp. so im looking at tag stg1, intense stg4, and ca stg3.

but gm stg1 is still stock injectors, wouldnt that lean me out too much with exhaust. i mean you need more fuel for the added boost, plus more exhaust flow will lean you out

no gm stg 1 is 42# injectors and a 2.9 pulley is fine... plus w/ intake and full exhaust you should be around 250

but how would that work? you dont need to tune for the bigger injectors? i mean the duty cycle is gonna go down unless change it in the tune. my a/f my be fine, but the ecu will still have my injectors opening too long.
