what dealer in illinois for stage 2?

hey guys it looks like i am going with GM stage 2 so i can keep my warranty. looks like im going to buy stage 2 from crate engine depot then take it do a dealer for instal and tune. Just wondering what dealer would be best. i live in illinois.... anyone in illinois recommend a dealer?

I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure you can install it yourself, or have a shop install it and then pay for the "tune" from gm and it will be warrantied. This will be much cheaper then having them do the labor.

no, sorry, but if gm DOESENT INSTALL IT WITH THE RECOMMENDED TUNE, your warranty will be voided

take it to the dealer and i'll go we will put on the injectors pulley and belt and u give them the $40 to re-flash it and save urself a whole bunch of $$$

Yea, gm only has to install do the tune in itself. If you do not believe us then call gm or re-read it. You can do the labor, take it to them, have them tune the ecu, and your set. It takes about an hr + for them to do the reflash of your ecu and it costs anywhere from 40-80 dollars depending on how much of a ***** the dealership is.

ok...here is the thing...you CAN put the injectors, pully, and belt it WITHOUT voiding it. but, you HAVE to get GM to do the flash...when they scan the code it will put the install on your vehicles history report...without that, you will be voided

make an appointment w/ CED.... and let them do the install.... there will be NO problems w/ them doing it ....they are the best dealer in IL for Cobalt SC performance

crate engine depot.... they are an hour away from me..... but worth the drive.... I don't trust just any chevy dealer
