What gain is predicted with 2.9 with current mods

The SS/SC is the wifes toy. I have done a few mods to it for her, but she is starting to
get bored. My question is what kind of gains could be expected if I add just a 2.9 pulley
from Nate? Any input is appreiciated.

It's not that much of a difference. S/C is louder and get like 1 psi more, but its not something you will be amazed by the difference.

i disagree, when i dropped my pulley to a 2.9 i gained a noticeable "pants dyno" gain.
and i dropped my 1/4 time by .4 seconds... was the best $60 mod ive ever done

if you drop to a 2.9 on the gm stage 2.... i'd highly recommend getting a tune also. you'll notice alot more gains from the tune than just dropping the pulley size.

I don't own an sc but a tc. My friend has a tune and the 2.9 and from a 60mph roll in third gear he kept up with me till we hit about 100 then I started to pull a little. My car is stock though.

I think he has exhaust and an intake as well I am unsure of all his mods. And in third I have no power from 60 till about 70-75. 60mph rolls are my weakness

I have not raced him from a dig directly. We both launched on a 5.slow and I put a couple of car lengths on him and the 5.slow. I didn't know if he was really racing or not. but the 5.slow was hahahahaha

You can always buy hptuners and then have someone send you a tune to work with. I highly recommend buying hptuners, its a wonderful application and will get rid of that crappy rich stage 2 tune.

Also, I don't recommend running a 2.9 inch pulley on the 42lbers. Depending on the weather and where you live your injectors will be going static at higher rpm's on the stage 2 tune. If you tuned it with hptuners you could bring the idc's down, but on the stage 2 tune you will run them static.

I vote for a 2.8/60lbers/meth/hptuners and or tune.
