I have called 3 dealerships trying to have my stage 2 put on my car and none of them want to handle it. Is is that big of a deal? They act like they dont know what I am talking about. I mean any mechanic can do this type of work, its not all that hard. Im in westminster MD, is it possible to find a chevrolet dealership that can handle this job? This is the most frustrating thing I have ever done!!!!!!!!!!11

 

I think they have tp put it on for you. It is a gm part so explain to them what it is. But if I was you, I would do it myself and get them to flash it for you.

 

X2. if they dont know what it is dont try to explain it to them, I sure as hell wouldnt let ANYone install anything on my car if they didnt know what it was....

 

Yep...it took several calls before I found one that had heard of it and was willing to do it.

 

It's sad. I actually had to explain to my dealer that the SS had an Ecotech under the hood. Definitely didn't buy from there haha

 

Same here. When I brought up the idea to my dealership they told me it wasn't going to be under warranty. After about an hour of telling them how retarded they were I said forget it.

 

Man I guess I got off lucky, the dealer had a GM store inside, I gave them the part# to look up and asked about installation, a service guy met me at the store and arranged for an install when the kit came in. It was easy.....
