What mods with 2.8in pulley

what all mods do you have to do to run a 2.8in pulley? is it just the pulley, belt, and flash the ecu? or is more required?

60# injectors, pulley, belt or tensioner, and a tune at the bare minimum

search man there are hundreds of threads.

but to get you started, if your stock, you'll need injectors and harness (recommend 60#ers) you'll need to pull the stock pulley (which is pressed on) off, you'll also need a new hub to attach the new pulley to. Then you'll need either a shorter belt (GM stage 2) or a larger tensioner pulley and maybe zzp tensioner. Shorter belt is the easier route. Then you'll need a tune. And you'll need cooling mods. Probably dual pass endplate w/ option B (OTTP or ZZP) aka additional coolant reservoir that will improve the efficiency of the stock intercooler system and increase the coolant capacity. As well as you'll want to run an auxillary heat exchanger. ZZP and OTTP both make very good pieces. Then you'll want to get a header and downpipe with a high flow cat and aftermarket exhaust thats around 2.5 or 3 inches. After that you'll soon need a new clutch and with all that new power you'll get wheel hop like a s.o.b. so you'll want to get either TTR's or OTTP's tranny mounts.

Hope this helps
