no reason to run anything less than premium. if you can't afford premium gas you shouldn't have got a car that calls for it.

Shell V-Power - Premium.

Used to run Mobil 1 Premium but it was giving me problems and when I changed the filter and gas the problem was cured. I also use injector cleaner every 3000 miles.

93 octane from well known gas stations only! Usually the Shell station near my house though. The methanol really helps out a bit though!

91 is bare minimum. if your modded, 91 doesnt really cut it either, you WILL get knock.

if your putting 87 in your ss/sc....well....i think you bought the wrong car.
and please dont give me this "I cant afford it" bullshit
its a few bucks a week.

(unless you have HPtoonin powerz and know how to run 87 safely )

hess 93 oct...i don't even know where i can get 91 around here.

i thought about trading in to get a car that runs 87 but in reality the cost savings would be nill. the change to a loan with interest would actually hurt me in the end.

im pretty much stock so 91 is good for me but where in edmonton is there anything higher? i seen a few 92 at huskys but i get a CEL whenever i used it, dont know if it was just that station?? it was by achesen.....then the one in spruce grove that give me CEL everytime i use it?? but i perfer petro canada.... always used it and no problems... but once i do start modding, i would like to put in higher octane
