what type of gasoline do u use?
if by the "best" you mean premium, don't. using too high of an octane is bad, just like using too low. higher octane gas is not any "better", it's just harder to ignite. there's plenty of myth's that it burns cleaner, hotter, cleans out your engine, etc. they're not true. you should only use what the car is designed for, in your case regular.
with the stage 2 kit i have to run 90 octane i wouold really like to be running around 96 or 96 but can't get it any where if i run less then premium it spits and sputers and won't run worth crap so only premium here!
Even a stock SS/SC runs like **** on regular, hence why GM puts it right in the manual that you should be using premium only.

yeah, they should always put a big flashing light in front of your face. with a bell that rings every time you open the gascap, and a loud voice that says PUT IN 91 OCTANE
I always need something shiny so i pay attention to things..........
cuz i mean.....if its only in the "OWNER/OPERATORS MANUAL" then it cant REALLY be that serious right?

lol.....did i **** your sister in a past life or something?
do you have a CLUE what ive driven before?
you obviously know nothing about engines if you think "serious power" is the determining factor in what fuel is required.
Fact. Cobalt SS is tuned for 91 octane.
/end thread.
