Whats the best intercooler for the LSJ?

I hit a deer and they said they would cover what intercooler I put on as long as I showed them the reciet and it installed. Because my zzp s3 is destroyed. Now I mean whats the best intercooler on the market for my car? Nothin too crazy where I have to chop away my car but ya you get the point. Thanks.

OTTP is selling them (griffin) right now. I'm not sure if they have any stock, but I'd give them a try. FYI it replaces your factory one, eliminates the need for a front mounted one, and is better than both combined. Also makes french fries.

Can you run the Griffin and, say, ZZP's S3 H/E?

You wont need any other heat exchanger if you have the Griffin.

I'd say personal preference, by the sound of the thread you wanted people to compare the vendors and see who has what, but IMHO it's all personal opinion your IATs may vary 1-2* no matter what you choose because everyone's cars respond differently to different mods/

It's stupid to do. The Griffin will do better on its own compared to having a less efficient one blocking it...

Correct. A zzp s3 or any other fmhe will make the griffin less efficient

Don't really see how it would make it less efficient.. Either way I'd take an FMIC over the Griffin.

a heat exchanger, or intercooler, works basically the same way as a radiator. It needs air to cool down charged air (intercooler) or the liquid (heat exchanger). So blocking the griffin with another after market would just block the airflow needed transfer heat.
