God forbid I asked why running it inline with a FMHE would make it less efficient.. Jesus.

The Griffin IS a FMHE. I think what you mean to say is that you don't understand how running a secondary FMHE will decrease the efficiency of the Griffin FMHE. In that case, see my previous post.
