whats a better cooling mod, H/E or Meth injection?
I don't even know, I just told vince from trifecta that I had the 42 injectors with a 2.8 pulley and a CAI and was planning on deleting the cat and getting the megan exhaust, so he tuned my car for that, he told me that you don't need to tune for an exhaust.
BTW, methanol is almost free. Cost me about 2 dollars a month to run it and I have a 6gph nozzle.

ok so let me clear things up.
the meth is better for cooling but the H/E is safer for my engine?
also just to let you know, I don't get premium fuel where I live, I think the octane here is at 92

Yes... meth inj cools everything, better than a heat exchanger.
60s would be a better bet, you can then have more power to your car without over running injectors.
If you dont get a tune for meth, you will lose power. Also if you get tuned for it, and run out of meth, bad things happen if you run it too hard.
If you dont want to spend money on a tune any time soon, dont get meth injection right now.
Its always good to have the entire engine cooler, instead of just the intake charge.

No. Meth doesn't hurt your engine at all. Just do a 50/50 mix and run a small nozzle. All it will do is cool the air and make you run a little more rich. The only way it will be bad for your car is if you do get tuned for it and run out while in boost.

If you cant get a custom tune, Get the h/e, You dont wanna run meth unless your tuned for it.
Also i would recommend either going to a 2.9 or 60's, Your injectors are screaming "**** you" every time you go into boost

Its a constant cooling, not just a boost referenced one...
i have nothing against meth injection, infact i think its awesome...
But unless you go 60s first.. thers no reason for meth...
yes it will lower idcs a little, but any gains you get from it will just eat up more fuel... so you cant tune it too powerful, plus you wont have a tuner there that can make sure your power is givin in safe conditions..

You intake charge, not the intake manifold itself.
which means that if your just DD, your car isnt being cooled as much in duration as it would with a heat exchanger.
You could do that... but... youll still need a tune with meth.

that's the only thing a heat exchanger cools!!!!!! meth injection will cool the air going into the s/c & intake manifold. and it will also bump up the octane of the fuel going into your engine a few points. running a 2.8 pulley with 42s..... your almost maxing out the 42s out and will cause you to run lean. a heat exchanger WILL NOT change you from running lean. so adding meth injection will help richen up the fuel and save your engine on that set up. like Invisible said, there are few tuners in your area.... and they can tune you for meth injection.
That extra 18hp is going to still over work the injectors more than they are being relieved...
If your going to get meth, wait till you get the 60s.

Listen to what the guy has to work with. He doesnt want 60s becaue he doesnt want a retune, there for, he cant get meth, because he wont be able to get a tune.

ok.... if he does want to get off the island and get retuned..... i would highly suggest him to go to a 2.9 & h/e...... that 2.8 is maxxing out those 42s on that stg 2 tune (which sucks). but if he stays with the 2.8 then i'd highly recommend getting the meth injection as it would do a hell of alot more cooling than the h/e..... but he doesn't want to get retuned. so this is pointless.
