Wheel hop

I bought poly Urethane mounts to be replaced with the stock ones. it's the bushings or w.e

If i were to get a solid Engine mount does that cancel the 2 Poly trans mounts?

no they work together to prevent wheel hop but the rotated trans mounts are better...

better cause they don't vibrate the engine? How much better could they be cause 50$ for 2 poly mounts seems reasonable for some drivetrain help, Rotated mounts are 150+ a piece. I think they do the same

I don't have the rotated mounts yet, but IIRC they actually rotate the powertrain to align with the axles better (hence the name). The poly inserts would just reduce or cancel the "play" allowed by the stock mounts...

I spoke on the phone with Josh @ OTTP just last week about this. The rotated mounts have stiffer than stock bushings, but nothing as hard core as poly. They should tighten up the engine a bit and most importantly fix the drive line geometry that gives us wheel hop.

He said 90% of people just get the front mount and the spacer which is cheap and you can always buy the rear mount later if you want.

Yes having all the mounts is always the best.

As you sated no, to little vibs compared to stock Plus for a few vibs, you really get to feel how the car is holding and it gives you feed back when you are pushing it. Plus NO wheel hop is great!

When I had all polys and solid engine mount, no wheel hop but car shaking to pieces lol. Now have rotated mounts and stock engine mount, no wheel hop no shaking.

So you replaced your aftermarket engine mount (TTR?) with the old stock one and the poly trans mounts with just the new rotated mounts?
I have the same set up with the TTR engine mount and the poly bushings, you are right about the car shaking to pieces.
I would love to get rid of that bullshit noise... but still want no wheel hop, and the feel of the engine power

I just purchased the complete mount set from TTR for $200.00. Got them via FedEx Ground. They were on sales.

No mount will ever do 100%, you would be fooling yourself. There are many other variables involved. They will reduce as much as the mounts will allow them to.
