Who does have the highest coolant temp?

Now I know this was already posted a while ago, so I thought I would start a new one. Well I was driving the other day on my deliveries and I was flipping through my display. Everything was looking good till I got to my coolant temp. The damn thing read 290 degrees F. I knew this could not be right because my car was running great. So I immediately pulled over and shut her off. After about five minutes of sitting there I started her back up and she read a perfect 185. So this got me to thinking what is the highest coolant temp you guys have ever had?

290? **** that's high. You better hope that was an error. I just can't imagine it messed up that bad.

I have never seen more than 218

230 and the fans never came on. I unplugged the relay which caused them to come on. Now they are on all the time, so 183 is the highest i see now.

Yeah today all day and night it read 179-186 so I think it was just a misread. Still even if a misread it scared the **** out of me.

220*F was the highest sitting in traffic on a 85*F day.

Normal opperating Temp. : 181*F Day, 176-180*F Night

Yeah, during the Woodward Dream Cruise this year when I was cruising with the Balts, in bumper to bumper traffic, in like 90F degree weather I saw my coolant go up to like 220-223... My coolant levels weren't that low either. I just got a low coolant notification on my DIC like two days ago and I filled it up with some dexcool just yesterday.
