on the xtc front intake there is a clear plastic shield covering the intake so it doesnt get destroyed by rocks and debree and such,.... thereby destroying any potential benefits to putting an intake in that spot

and killerbee.. no offense is intended.. but u got almost 7000 posts in less than a year on this car forum and your inquiring about a product like this??? its not even CLOSE to the k&n and is def is a waste,,,u should kno better

I have that intake on my car, just had it one day. But it seems to be working good. I was just afraid of getting a lean mixture. Does anyone know about that? Also that cover is removable and it REALLY changes things. The punch is better and is SC is alot more aggressive sounding.

man, they put on of those interfoolers on a little civic they were building on spike TV's Horsepower TV....it was the most ghetto build ive ever seen....it was like a rice how-to!!!

to put it in perspective...they started with something rediculous like 80 whp and threw some rims at it, a 50 shot, a big ass wing, an interfooler, and some audio equip! no show, no go...it was gay!

well, i had it idling last night while i romoved the weather guard and when i took off the temp dropped FAST. see, the thing is that it isn't against the intercooler, it's just in front of it, so wind has a tunneling effect that will still give it plenty. i mean that's just basic physics. air does not move in a straight line, especially under a car. Plus the intake i got looks a little different than the one on the webpage. it's close, but not as back yard custom or ghetto. it looks pretty clean actually. really, it's up to the owner, the thing obviously works, but if someone didn't like it, that's their thing.

umm, i'm only running that one. i didn't say i was running another. but when i posted that it was my first day with it, i hadn't even had time to test it.
