60# injectors are perfect for a 2.5" or 2.6" pulley. I have a 2.6 with 60s and they are at 75% duty cycle, prolly more like 78% now that its getting colder.

You guys are confusing the hell out of me. In other threads most people say that a 2.8" pulley with 42's is pushing it. That's what I am currently running and as the weather has cooled (and especially during my trip to Atlanta), I have been getting lean codes left and right (never had gotten the code ever before this) and lots of KR above 4k rpm in 50 F weather or cooler. So I figure that you guys must of been right about the 42's and ordered 60's (will be installed and tuned this Tuesday). Now I am hearing that 60's are too big for the 2.8" and hurt drivability too much. Which is it? I don't want to break anything, nor do I want to have a different tune for each season.

The stock ECM is only designed to handle 42.5# Injectors. Any thing larger is tuned in by changing the MAF table and tricking the computer of the amount of air entering the engine.

Blown 4-banger raised his idle to 1050rpm and the ECM is still commanding a lower pulse width than the minimum of the Seimens Deka 60# Injectors.

i think it has to do with the climates though i assume its over 40-60 degrees there lol
honestly i think we need a sticky warning people against buying a 2.6 and 60lbers with a standard tune look how many people keep blowing up I know of 4 definates and 2 possibles

I think people should stick to a 42.5 and a 2.8 until the community guena pigs figure it out but hell if you want the power power to them lol just be sure to ge a wideband
