Wierd Issue at ~3000 rpms...

I was driving my SS (specs in sig) I was accel. in second gear, and I hit about ~3000 rpms and the car acted like there was no fuel... It did NOT feel like it hit the rev limiter, but just felt like it was choking. It happened about 4 times total and I believe only in second gear, it acted fine in 3rd. It was also raining out.

Since then it only happened 1 other time and only once then.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rich

i'd have 06black have nother look at your tune and do some logs. sounds like he missed a spot in the fuel map or something *shrug*

I had the exact same thing happen to me on multiple occasions before I got my dyno tune. The car would only do it sometimes and only in second gear at around 3000 rpm. I have yet to figure out what was causing it but dyno tuning seemed to solve the problem.

In onotice this always happens if you get on your car before it warms up to 180 degrees.
