wierd knocking noise?

Ok, my mods are in signature and i was wondering if any of you have experienced a wierd knocking noise with the engine. It sounds like the timing of the valves is off or something of that nature. I'm making an oppointment for the dealer tomorrow, should i take off the cai so the ******** don't void the entire warranty? Thanks for your help.

I dont see how they could justify a problem with the engines internals being caused by the CAI or the exhaust

can you give anymore details, the ecotec's are known to make weird noises at some rpm's especially low rpms

I hope it doesnt sound like glass getting knocked around in your engine, because I think thats what KR sounds like

I'd take it in as is they can't void your warrenty, unless they can prove that the aftermarket parts are causing the problem

I would remove the CAI and put the stock air intake inplace.

it sounds like the valve timing is off... thats what a couple of my friends who are mechanics have said. It makes the sound at all RPM's, even idle. I am going to take the CAI off just in case because you know how ******* gm dealerships are.

Only during cold starts and last for like a minute and its random is when I hear it. I was told it was the injectors, but who knows.

well my bro and me took the cai off last night at like midnight and called the dealership today. They are coming to tow it to the dealership at 3. They also said that they would not provide a loaner until it was looked at. God damn ********. Any predictions of what they will say?

my car also does this.. It is a decently loud tick. Only does it when you start it up first time in the morning.. Lasts until it warms up, and then goes away.
