Hey guys, i think im dealing with a similar problem. So i got a CEL and had it scanned at Auto Zone and it gave a P1516. Now, iv been driving it like that for a couple of days until i was driving and all of a sudden it stales on me on a freeway ramp! Idk if it could be the same thing...? It just would not start, like if the battery was dead... Came back with my brother to give it a spark and it turn on very slow. Drove home and parked.

Had a shop look at it today and they told me i would need to take it to the dealer. They said something about calibrating something...throttle actuator??? or a possible short circuity...?

hey man, sry haven been on in a couple of days, im gonna put out a new thread in a min bout what happened to mine just in case some1 else has a prob... did you get any other codes from autozone or is i just p1516? i had 8 codes that came up and it ended up being the throttle body and pcm together, how many miles are on ur car? if your under 80,000 and its an emissions related prob, ull be covered under warranty, the chevy dealer here said they charge 97.50 to diagnose if it ends up being a non "warranty" issue, basically they will diagnose it, if its not covered under a warranty, 100$ and then if you want them to fix it, let them if not you'll kno what the prob is and you can fix it urself or have someone you trust do it.... i ended up being under the EC 80,000 mile warranty, its a Federal warranty that covers all emission items on ur car, which throttle body and PCM(Powertrain Control Module) are under... i say talk to a chevy/GM dealer first and see what they say... if not search the forums for what you can find, bc i did that and i found out a good amount, and it ended up bein the prob that i found. good luck man.

I only got one code (p1516). I drove it to the dealer this morning! They charge me from $60-160 to see whats wrong. My cobalt has around 78 or 79,xxx miles, but im not the first owner so i might be screwed for the warranty thing Hope things dont get too expensive!

I don't see a P2110, so that one maybe a typo.

I am still guessing a bad TB. Could be a bad ECU as well, but that is less likely than the TB actually being bad. The BARO and Rich codes are usually caused by an intake leak, though they could be caused by a TB problem with the boost bypass.
hey this is what was posted for me when i had the codes.... TAC is the prob u have, worst comes to worse itll be your PCM, but its possible your TB jus needs to be replaced.. i hope its nothing to serious, but since you're under 80,000miles, that should be free diagnostic, and free TB replacement, if its a chevy/gm dealer... its under your Emissions Control federal warranty, dont be afraid to tell em about it... they shouldnt charge you..
