so i was driving today at about 930pm all of a sudden my dic (i think its called, the odometer, degree thingy) says POWER STEERING. then randomly cycles through the settings, trip a trip b ect. then my cruise wouldnt set on the free way, when i would hit the set on the cruise, it just flashes CRUISE CONTROL for like .1 sec and then doesnt actually set. WTF is going on? it is a 06 ss/sc

No idea, never heard of that. My cruise just doesnt work, ganna have to take it in.

 

one word: dealer that bitch up. If you want to first try disconnecting your battery for 30 min. and reconnect it, that will reset everything.

 

yea i think im going to try disconnect the battery first... dont have the money to take it to the dealer since i just droped over a g into somethnig special for the balt let u guys know what that is when it comes in... OTT maybe?

the power steering might be a loose connection at the fuse box under the hood check the plug on the back of the fuse block as far as the cruise control unhook the battery for like ten minutes and it should work by the way do you keep your foot on the clutch pedal if you do it might have just enough preassure on it to not let it engadge i have run into both of these problems

 

i know about the clutch pedel thing, i do it all the time where my foot is just touching it and it wont engauge it, but idk im gonna go check in a minute, and try it out.. hopefully it just had something to do with the cold and snow and all that crap in todays poop ass weather
