Will I be OK with stock exhaust and this setup?

Hey everyone,
I am installing the zzp front mount heat exchanger (keeping the existing HE on), an injen intake and a RAW Stage I kit tuned for 91 octane in my 2006 SS/SC. Will I have any issues running this setup without any exhaust mods?

Also, what should my first exhaust mod be? I am perfectly happy with the sound of my stock exhaust, I honestly don't want to go too much louder..

Thanks for the advice

well, you should be fine. But you are just bottling up the potential on stock exhaust. Get an aftermarket header and dp first, then go with a catback system. That way you get all the performance out of that 2.8 pulley setup.

I commend you on gettin a h/e with the stage kit though. Good job.

h/e was the first thing that came to mind when I thought 2.8... I know how much heat this engine makes because.......I READ YOUR STUFF! Haha thanks for your info, I will also be adding dual pass in good time... so I will have the stock HE w/ dual pass and a front mount HE, I am stoked, I wonder if it will be cooler then with the stock pulley? Basically at least 3 times more cooling surface/passes then before..

^ like he said. you should be fine. also i do not recommend dual pass or option b with cx h/e. not sure about zzp's but if you get it and keep the stock h/e that will be plenty enough my friend.

eh, the dual pass will add more cooling. If you want it, it will help make a tad more top end power by getting rid of some more heat soak. Never hurts.

First exhaust mod should always be a stainless header/dp combo imo...then catback...for stage 2 or compatible it's a good idea to swap exhaust. Don't need the new h/e before exhaust however. If the raw kit has a 2.8 pulley then you NEED exhaust and the h/e.
