I have about 650 miles on my Cobalt now and i'm only seing about 10.5 to 1 lbs. of boost. I've heard that stock boost is 12.5 lbs. Will my boost get better as i put more niles on the car? I used to have an Ion Redline and i always got 12 lbs. of boost stock. Just curious, thanks for the help.

 

You have to allow time for you car to break in before beating on it. Not everyones boost is going to be the same psi. But nor is it going to be that much different either. So with more miles on it yes you will see more boost. Thats my opinion on it.

 

One more thing bro. You won't see 12psi untill you are up in the 6,000 to 6,500rpm range. Most people think they are only getting 10psi because they are punching it at 3,00 to 4,000rpms. 12 comes in the high rpm range.

 

Giver her timee.. I only have 1500 miles and I'm seein 12psi. I didn't when I was around 500 though.
