it worked... meth on 100oct tune

so for those of you who saw my other posts about the meth on gm stg 3 100oct tune... well it worked the meth completly eliminated the knock and now the 100oct tune stays on even with 91 in the tank... iat2 dropped so fast when activated it was unbelievable... i dont know why i didnt buy this sooner... i mean i know why... its 400$

the best 400$ i ever spent lol so if you dont have it go get it... now order now

I re-read the other person on the sites post where he sprayed meth on the gm stage 3, apparently he had the meth being controlled by the stage 3 ecu instead of the NOS so thats why it didnt work well. The guy was RoelSS??

hmmm...another advantage to meth i didnt know about... you can run 91 and a higher octane tune? :O...and its consistant? wow ...i need to scrape some money together...im tired of putting 94 in my tank...expensive and only one gas station franchise i know of offers it

and i've never felt a vtec in a honda...never driven one- does it just kick in after a certain rpm or something?

exactly why i did it! the race gas is outragously priced... and i figured meth is ending up to be 2.50$ a gallon after a 60% water 40% meth and the tank is 1 1/2 so with a 3gph nozzle ide have to hold the throttle to the floor for a half an hour straight to run out so i think it a great alternative... it feels like i gained maybe 10whp....

well yeah the way i have it setup the meth comes on at 10lbs boost seens how thats how much it came with stock so everything should be fine 12.5lbs or less without meth, so its hard to explain how much you feel it but when i roll on to the throttle the boost goes 5 6 7 8 9 10lb and then you see a drop in a/f and a noticable diff is felt... honestly the car runs so much smoother now at wot then before, not that i could notice any ruffness before but it seems like the car just loves the meth/water mixture... it runs so smooth prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Water/ meth is proven to raise octane and lower temps.....

Until it fails during a race, and pop goes the motor

I've seen it happen before. I used to work at an engine building shop. A motor came in with a couple broken pistons, I asked what happened.... "Meth failed during a run, detonation went off the chart, wreaked havoc on the pistons"

All things have good and bad sides.
For someone untuned and only needs it to lower IAT2 and raise octane it's perfect.
If you run out no diffrence then now.

this is why they create gauges.

the afr will go lean. the egt will skyrocket.

Sometimes it happens too quick. At the same shop, we built a B18 for some idiot with a honda running a 100 shot. First time at the track, he installed the fuel jet but, HE FORGOT TO INSTALL A NITROUS JET!!! The instant the nitrous hit, the motor burned up within seconds.

Its great for the stage 3 though, once the car detects the knock from lack of meth, it will just drop out of 100 octane mode and theres no problem

you can run up to 13.4 afr and 23 degree's of timing before you see any severe detonation on a 75/25 mix

No diff. than playing with nitrous.... Usually you dont rely on the water/ meth its a helper not a explosion preventer.
