wrong size aem dry flow- usable?

hey i just got my AEM dry flow filter, and originally looking around on this site i found some conflicting information about the size that was needed for the stock pipe. I ended up gettin g a 3.5 inch instead of a 3.25 inch. Will i still be able to use the filter? I havent taken the car apart yet to try and attach it, but i figured before i started opening it up i would ask to see if it was even possible.

I would think that you would be able to make it work. I guess you will just have to tighten it down a little more.

would it be possible for me to build up the end of the intake with duct tape or something, so the fit is tighter?

See what you can do without duct tape first. At least thats what I would do.
