i got GMPP Preformance Exhaust Installed for $700.00 GMPP Stage2 installed for $900.00 intake cost 280 (installing myself) thats $1880.00 combined. unless the honed manifold and header costs around $2000.00 installed your gettting fuckkked. buy all the parts separatly off the internet or from vendors then get the dealer to install them. saves your warranty and about a grand for play with.

by my math it should cost you roughly $2500 plus install. All figures in Canadian $$$.

$350 for injen cai
$650 for gmpp exhaust
$1200 for stage 2 (what I was quoted at my dealership... stupid ****'s)
$300 header

no, you royally screwed yourself.... you are paying a dealer and you dont have A CLUE what they are doing to your car.

Just like everyone said, you kinda screwed yourself because you didn't do your research. I'm dealing with Gateway Chevrolet in Brampton, and I'm quite happy with them (so far they've been very honest with me and have dealt with all my problems big or small). After speaking with their parts guy, he told me that for the Stage 2 kit ($800), Extruded Honed Manifold ($385), GMPP Sports Exhaust ($458), Angled Exhaust Tip ($62), it would take approximately 4-6 hrs to install if the guy knew what he was doing at $90/hr. Taking the maximum of 6 hrs, the total after taxes is barely touching $2600. Oh yea, they told me that they wouldn't put in CAI, but would sell a K&N filter that would fit the airbox for about $50. All these prices are in Canadian dollars. Do your research bro, honestly you can get all this done for $2000 or under if you really do your research. As I stated before, all these prices are from the dealer only and their labour charges. You CAN get it cheaper from our online vendors. Hope you can get a refund and ask them to shove their parts unless they give you the right price.

I was at my dealership yesterday and they are going to sell me a stage 2 for my SS/SC for 577.00. Today I talked to the service dept and they said that it will cost about 500.00 to install the stage 2. To me the install seems high compared to what I have read on other members installs. I really want the stage 2.

That is way too high for the install. What is the labor rate? Hour many hours did they say it would take?

I know I will not pay that amount for an install. They have really been good in all other areas of my car. They told me that they did a stage 3 install which included the cat back exhaust and a header. so when I asked how much just for the stage 2 he broke down the time to install it. He was telling me that it is the pulley that is the hardest part. I will check with somebody who I have a connection with at the dealership who I should of asked first. There is also another chevy dealership that I can go to if needed. Stage 2 will be in soon and I cant wait.
