randomly the axle popped out of the intermediate shaft pulling out of my driveway.

it holds in just fine when you are in reverse. but then when you put it in first it just pops out. the axle only has 250 miles on it if that.. i took the shaft off.. everything looks normal. i put it all back together. and as i was tightening down the axle nut it did it again.. so my question is.. is it the axle or inter shaft? all the teeth on each look good. nothing broken or chipped.

 

isnt there c clips at the end of the axles to hold it in place... did u check those

 

yes but there isnt any extra play from what i can tell. looks about the same as when they shipped it.
