ZZP H/E with and w/o Stock?

I just ordered the S3 from ZZP. I was going to run it with the stock H/E, but was wondering if theres really any benefit. They say you can run just theirs. I have been trying to research it but again, i have failed. I will be getting a dual pass in a few weeks. I am just worried running a 3.0 with no aftermarket exchanger

a 3.0 isnt going to create to much more heat, i ran both heat exchangers at the same time when i ran my 3.0, also dual pass, and meth/phenolic spacer. my s/c was always cold lol no lie. im now on a 2.7, with the same set up. i say the 2 are better, but thats my opinion.

I don't know about that,
Imagine what would happen if your coolign was so good it liquified the Oxygen and Nitrogen in the air it takes in.

I'm running both. IAT2's recover a lot faster after a pull with the ZZP HE in place in addition to my stocker. It's more work to remove the stock one anyway.

your dealing with a stock laminova system that can handle 250hp tops if you want more design a new manifold cooling modifications are only good for recovery so you can do back to back pulls and op use the search button there is more then enough information about cooling mods on this site

I know what kind of cooling mods are out. I did use the search. I wanted to know if most ppl run both or just the aftermarket. That isnt clearly stated anywhere. BAZINGA

Just keep the stocker in and use the ZZP one.. it'll make the install goes easier, and it won't hurtcha to keep it.
