ZZP or Hahn turbo

Hi all....I am looking to turbo the cobalt (05 SS). Question is should i go with the dual system from ZZP or just a straight turbo swap from Hahn?

Anyone who has either done please let me know the good and bad

I was leaning towards the ZZP package as I believe that it has no turbo lag from what I have heard.

Any advice would be great as it is a lot of money

CHEERS in advance

for starters....have you EVER heard a bad thing about Hahn????? Neither the products, service or reputation have ever been put in question. Sure sometimes they are slow getting back to you on PM's or emails but I give leniency as I know they are very busy.....especially with recent product testing and builds for GB's...etc. I know you are looking for technical advice but the intangibles are ALWAYS something to consider.

I have always heard tuning was a bitch for a twincharged setup that constantly needs "keep up". I don't know, just what I've heard.

Haha, perhaps you will be the second one to buy one.. I wonder how many kits Hahn has sold for the SS/SC?

It's a far larger pain in the ass to tune for a twincharge setup than a Hahn.

Hahn, hands down.

Did anyone say HAHN yet? Just the straight turbo setup puts down ridiculous power and isn't going to be the headache. The REAL question is Hahn or TVS? OOOOOOO!

the twin charge kit pulls like a **** but
a friend of mine has it which seemed fin at first but after hooking up hp tuners there's all kinds of problems.... zzp turned down the knock sensitivity to make it look like there was none but when turned back up to stock there was over 10 degrees

Hey, here's a question that is a little off topic but still on. Why is the price so much cheaper here:

Are there parts missing?

doesnt look like it...

the first kit you need the intake manifold.. unless you just use the s/c delete.

:idiot:

Ever heard of Borg Warner??

One in the same, also they are vary local to zzp.

Bw's ET wheels are amazeing

to the OP, go with Hahn, most there stuff is close to being dead on, much more then what can be said for zzp.

Not only a hack shop, but the tune is about 4% complete. I had to spend hours cleaning up a twin car with there set up, it only took about 1-1.5 he to get the Hahn tune to be acceptable.

U can drive the car on the Hahn tune with little issue, just way down on power vs a real tune, the zzp stuff is undriveable in my eyes.

Check out jannetty(sp?) racing's kit, VARY well put togather set up.

In any case, I def get the tune tweaked by an exsperianced tuner once u get a set up like these. Tricy at times to work with and the needs more upkeep.
