I didn't realize that this thread was a couple months old and just brought back up. Either way, the ZZP twincharge kit is a lot more amazing than people have given it credit for. We will have one running well into the 11s this spring. You guys will be surprised to see a turbo spooling in an instant at the hit of the throttle and still have the potential to put down over 500whp on a 2 liter. That combination is not achieved very often.

They've already made 465 whp on a stock ss/sc with only race gas and the twin charge kit as an additive!! Wouldn't you think 35 more horses would be EASILY attainable?

Well.. not every uses race Gas...

I like realistic DD numbers... i mean yea that race gas is cool and all but... i probly wont be one to use it.

If it was easily obtainable they would have already done it.

It will be easily obtainable, but not without the right clutch in the car. The 465 pull was done through the full exhaust. We had the blower bypass opening right away to try to keep it from hitting too hard and toasting the clutch. It was the first pull on race gas that hit 465. The next pull was done open downpipe, and the turbo hit so hard that it hit 8000 RPM in about a second and that was the end of that clutch.

The only reason they haven't is because the clutch went out on the test car they have? And as far as pump gas goes, I believe they obtained in the 440's with pump gas? Let me find the thread.

The decay rate was .6 across the board. Most of the knock settings were actually more conservative than a stage 2 file.

You are correct. We are also going to offer a larger turbo since the 256ET hits too hard in most cases.

Sounds good! Can't wait to see the results of that! Is ZZP still working on the twincharge cobalt here lately? I haven't heard anything about it since the clutch gave out.

We have a Black, Silver, and Blue that are all being tinkered with nearly every day. We have a few more that we'll be working on shortly. We have a lot to live up to and hope that you'll be impressed when we hit the track and post up more dyno's. For now, could the people posting up rumors just stop. I'm so sick of hearing people say things like "yeah, their stage 5 kit blew up a car" only to PM the guy and find out "sorry, that's just what I hear" then another guys sees his post and repeats it. Soon everyone is posting about a phantom car running ZZP parts that don't exist (we don't sell stage 5 anything) and talking about it like it was theirs.

Definitely can't wait for that to happen then. I'll be keeping an eye on ZZP come spring time!

Perhaps this clears up any concerns the OP may have about the ZZP kit. The choice is now up to you.
