DO NOT GET THIS HEADER.... It fit like crap. The bends were like an inch off. I couldnt even make this thing fit if i wanted to. The downpipe is also making a horrible noise. Hopefully ZZP will help resolve the issue with the header. $550.00 dollars later and I got ****. God I am so damn mad. I guess you get what you pay for.

Thats the problem when someone tries to design something that fits in a small space that they can't really see while the engine is in the car.

the sad thing is... there is actually a decent amount of room to run a decent header... I think zzp mocked it up wrong on their last run of headers, you shoulda seen how bad my friends fit... hopefully they fx it cause I like their products.

What did your friend do. Did he just get his money back. Was ZZP Cool with him or did they try to doubt him. Any info would help thanks.

Right now it just sounds like the worst exhaust sound you can imagine. This thing totally sucks right now. Like I said i'll give it 1000 miles and if it doesnt get better its coming off.

If I were you I would maybe return the header. It totally didnt fit on my car and it cost me money for them to try and put it on.

Another reason to be glad I went with CTI on the header and downpipe. I noticed the flex in CTI's downpipe is similar to what is used on the stock downpipe, hoping it won't make noises like the type used on the ZZP. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations after I finally have it installed in a couple of weeks (be out of town next week). I'll post my experiences once the day arrives.

Well i think ive made my decision on not getting that header at least. If i got a shorty header i was thinking about getting the DP but now im starting to have second thoughts. I'm thinking about the weapon r(longtube), CTI(shorty and DP), or JBP(shorty).

What about the TOG header on ZZP's site? Any opinions on that?

They said it fits but you have to buy a adapter flange to make it fit correctly.

Just call them and talk to them. I dont think you need the receipt because they keep all the info stored. I dont even think I got a receipt when I got mine. Do you have your order number? So they said the product is 100% ready Hopefully it fits or im going to be really pissed off when I receive my new one. Thanks for the info

As my sig states I wanted to get the GMPP manifold but now I am considering the CTI because from what I have heard it is one of the better ones out there now.

Can anyone tell me if the Cobalt benifits from a tune with a new manifold. I know this is a dumb question but my friend had one on his old cavi and it ran pretty good w/no tune.

I don't think you have to get one. I'm sure if you contact them, ***** would be happy to oblige. I asked if he could make the 3" dp fit to a 2.5" cat back and he said no problem, he'd make the changes. One thing I like is that you can swap the dp w/cat for one without if you want, all bolt-on. Put the dp w/cat on if you have emissions and then switch back after you've got your sticker. That's one of the things I considered, running with the cat for daily driving and then swap it out for the track.
