Question ZZP Stage 2 vs. GM Stage 2

I am really looking at getting the GM stage 2 upgrade for my 2006 SS/SC, but I noticed ZZP has a stage 2 upgrade for roughly half the price. I can't see why ZZP would sell it for that less than if it wasn't including all the products or if it wasn't producing as large of a gain as the GM upgrade. Any thoughts on this? I could just be missing something very obvious but I haven't seen this topic covered yet so I was curious. Thanks.

crate engine depot sells GMS1 for $450 sometimes and GM wanted $900 for the same kit if that's any indication of how F'd pricing is smetimes... someone at ZZP or someone familiar with the product will chime in.

Yeah, I will probably have someone that has Trifecta tune it for me or get Trifecta myself, the whole deal of sending in my PCM seems fishy to me.

ZZP for sure. Great quality parts and like you said the price is a lot better. You will probably want a custom tune with either set up anyways

How many tools would I need in order to change the pulley? I am willing to rent or buy a pulley puller tool from ZZP if thats the only tool I'll need, but if theres more then... screw it I won't do the project haha

Just a pulley puller.
See if your local auto store will rent you one.

can't imagine anyone with a ss/sc that still has any warranty left, because that's the only reason why you'd want to get GM's kit. All that money for a slightly smaller pulley, a slightly larger injectors, and a pig-rich tune. Get zzp's kit. cheaper and better, and with a wideband and a proper tuner, you'll be happy.

What should someone do about the tune? I mean, I can do all the work myself... but I just can't send in my ecu and I do not have HP Tuners or anyone around here to tune it... Like I said, this is my daily driver that I need.
