Here recently my rear brake lights and rear signal lights have stopped working. I tried looking it up on here, checked the fuses but they are fine. The 3rd brake light up top works fine, and my parklights work fine. but nothing comes on when you press the brake petal. brand new bulbs any ideas? If there is thread I have missed please link me to it.

Under the brake pedal. Its what triggers the lights. Also, try checking the wiring to the lights

 

Bulbs blew lol if the single and brake lights don't work its usually bulbs.

Just checked the wiring and switch everything's fine. would suck to get pulled over.

 

If the third break light works the break pettle switch works ..you bought double contact bulbs ?

 

You should have two elements inside the bulbs easy to see.

 

New bulbs were Duds.. :/ bought another set works fine, what bad luck lol

That sounds even better to me. What would cause a miss every now and then at idle? its not constant, no check light on.

 

Could be a dirty maf sensor or dirty injectors. Cleaning the maf is easy

 

New plugs?

 

i'll try cleaning the MAF tomorrow if it doesn't rain. it dose have 120k miles. So might need plugs also

 

Plugs should have been done at 100k

If your car is stock then get the acdelco or ngk equivalent. Dont get autolite

 

Car has AEM CAI, and bolt on exhaust. NGK be good enough?
