I know.. I posted that for others who may be interested.. Mine does have that piece there but looks to be a different shape.

I'll post a pic of mine in a minute to compare.

Thanks bro! I appreciate the kind words

Here are the pics of mine. Basically it looks like its just there to restrict it down to the size of the hole and provide the seal.

The piece pulled out.

The hole without the piece in it.

Now I don't know for sure but comparing mine to the pics on the last page, I don't think the 08+ man's need anything other than the gasket.

No you just reuse your old one. I just left it on there when I parted out the car.. I didn't even hook the other one back up! Lol it was just going to scrap anyways.. so yeah all you need is the 2 feet of heater hose and a couple small hose clamps.

all i need now is my header and a tune.
but i need a job first before i can get either. well i can get the header w out it but i need a job to get the tune. is the only way to do it is to go thru the trifecta site?
i wouldnt mind geting it tuned by a shop but i dont know of any localy.
also if iwas to get it done by a shop how would i get my car there with the 2.4 TB on? or would i have to install it at the shop?

You would need to swap it at the shop. 4 bolts, 5 minutes.

the shift in the pull is great, instead of topping out, it pulls through 6k

Did you disconnect the battery for 10mins? then let it idle for around 5 before you go out driving? Then when you start driving dont beat on it right away, take it to 3-4k a few times then a few 6k pulls and let it idle again.

It resets the ECU so it can relearn everything.

this, and the reason for idling is it relearns the idle better (since your changed something) I did that with mine and have thrown no codes related to intake manifold.
