2.2 e-tec head compatability

I'm new to the forum and tried searching with no luck, can someone tell me if there are any differences in an early production 06 2.2 head ( no air injection stuff) and those of other and earlier models. I want to build a head for mild performance, auto-x restricted.

No head differences. It's all in the exhaust manifold.
