New on here. Any help would be greatly appriciated. A friend of mine has a 2006 ls cobalt with the 2.2 ecotech in it with 169xxx miles on it. Ran fine one night, parked it, came out the next morning, and it wouldn't start. Engine cranks over fuel pump kicks on. I pulled the spark plugs, they smell of gas and are kinda darker then usual. Not black but not golden. Cylinders 2 and 3 plugs ground tab are burnt off at a slight angle as if someone took a file to them and filed them down to one side. I scanned for codes. Nothing came up in current dtcs or previous history codes. Totally stumped. Any help would be awesome! Thanks guys

 

Also I could occasionally get it to sputter and it would try to start but it only did it once. And then just went back to cranking. I check all fuses and swapped relays around and nothing made a difference
