What about running spray with the 2.4 manifold? I know there was that guy with the 2.2 that sprayed and broke the manifold... maybe this is more of a fix for those of y'all who are on the bottle?

Its at the stock 6500. Its just that in 4th the wheel speed reached 105 so it hit the limiter.

Base models have a limit of 105. Next model's limit is either 120 or 126. You have a limiter.

Like I said, it's not removed per se, the limit was probably just raised. Now I'm not going to tell you to go out again and test it , but next time you get up there, take note.

Did you happen to notice at around 120 you still have about 1500 usable rpms but you cant go any higher?

mine maxes out at 122, coulda just been going downhill though.

that's probly because you don't have enough hp to overcome the wind-resistance at those speeds.

could be, but i think it dies out a bit abruptly. probably the gov/rev limiter

when i got to 95 in my blazer it would litterally like stall and go back to like 3k and then let u rev again it sucked lawl

My car is limited to 118 at 4200rpm in 4th gear. If I could get rid of it I could easily take it to 140 - 145
